The Makeup Hub is part of themakeupbox.com website owned by The Makeup box Ltd. The Makeup Hub is an online Worldwide Makeup Directory, specifically for companies and individuals in the makeup industry, wanting to advertise makeup products, makeup brands, makeup services, medical and remedial makeup products and services, film and special effects products, body art, nail art, tattooists, hair and wig making services, makeup schools, makeup agencies, makeup artists, makeup magazines, makeup companies, makeup marketing organizations, makeup websites, online and high street makeup retailers selling makeup products, makeup accessories, makeup equipment. We accept listings for beauty salons and hair studios on the provision that you sell makeup products and/or offer a full makeup service on your premises.
Listings and Payment - For an annual subscription fee, ‘The Makeup Box’ will sell members of the makeup industry wanting to advertise in ‘The Makeup Hub,’ a Picture Link, Hub Portfolio and a Hub Portlet. Each of these products can be linked to an existing website, provided the website promotes, sells or advertises makeup products and/or makeup services.
Conditions of Payment - You must submit a valid credit card/debit card and agree to this credit card being charged for advertising in the Makeup Hub. Payment must be made in full for your subscription membership or your business will be removed from the Makeup Hub. Banners in the Makeup Hub will be charged on a monthly basis. Approval - Once payment has been made, our editor will look and review your information, advertising copy, pictures, external links and external websites submitted to us for inclusion in ‘The Makeup Hub Dedicated Worldwide Online Makeup Directory’. We will contact you by email and inform you whether the content of your advertisement and/or web site has been approved or rejected within 24 hours (excluding public holiday periods observed by The Makeup Box). Once approved your membership subscription for a Picture Link, Hub Portfolio, or a Hub Portlet will be shown visibly online.
The Makeup Box, its subsidiaries, employees and agents, shall not be liable for any loss of business, loss of data, interruption of business that result in any way from applicants inability to use this service.
Full Web Service - If you feel intimidated by computers, do use our Web Service. Prices are clearly shown on your members profile page. Please send your information by registered mail in CD format. If you want us to return your information please enclose a stamped address envelope. Once we have relieved your information, provided the content is makeup orientated and is approved, allow up to five days for your information to be online. We will contact you via email if we have problem understanding your information.
What Happens If Your Makeup Business Is Rejected? - You are entitled to request an appeal by sending an email to admin@themakeupbox.com. The Makeup Box must receive your email within 30 days from the date that The Makeup Box transmitted the rejection email to you. The Makeup Box will again review your business application, no additional fee will be charged for this service, and we will notify you of our final decision. If your business is declined for a second time you will be notified again by electronic notification and your subscription fee will be refunded to the same credit card/debit card submitted by you within 7 days of you receiving your second electronic notification.
We do not accept businesses or individuals wanting to sell, promote or advertise unrelated products or services. We do not tolerate any content, information or pictures that contain sexual content of any nature, or any information that may be illegal to sell products or services under any applicable law, that may infringe or violate anyone's rights, or that, The Makeup Box believes, in its sole discretion, is offensive.
Listing Guidelines - Websites must be linked to the Makeup Hub via a ‘Picture Link, Hub Portfolio or Hub Portlet. Websites must be up and running 24/7. Websites must sell makeup related products and/or services. Websites must support multiple browsers and capabilities. The Makeup Box reserves the right to list your website in any category or subcategory in The Makeup Hub we consider the most appropriate for your makeup business.
Third Party Sites - The Makeup Box does not endorse the content on any third-party web-site, including its members or affiliates. Your use of Third-Party Sites is at your own risk and subject to the terms and conditions of use for such sites.
Renewal - You will be notified by email a month before your renewal fee is due. Your credit/debit card will be automatically debited. Please notify admin@themakeupbox.com if you do not want to renew your annual subscription membership. Renewal Payment must be made in full for your subscription membership or your business will be removed from the Makeup Hub 30 days after the expiration date of your subscription membership.
Indemnity - The Makeup Box’s liability to the client shall not exceed the amount actually paid by applicant under this agreement.
Your Privacy - The Makeup Box maintains all client details on a secure, password protected server, including but not limited to your business registration information. Your information will not be passed on to any third parties. Any notices or communications shall be by electronic mail. It is your responsibility to provide an accurate email, business address and contact phone number and to ensure that we are notified of any changes.
Access and Passwords - You may select a username and password in accordance with ‘TheMakeupBox.com’ username and password guidelines. You agree that you are the only individual entitled to access The Makeup Hub within ‘TheMakeupBox.com’ website using your user name and password and you agree not to permit others to access the site using your username or password. All actions taken by you, or any other user that accesses The Makeup Hub within ‘TheMakeupBox.com' website using your username and password, will be attributed to and legally bind you, even with respect to acts for which the user had no actual authority or made an error. If you lose your username or password, please contact us using the "Forget your password?" link.
Copyright ‘TheMakeupBox.com’ website contains proprietary material owned by The Makeup Box Ltd or material that other suppliers have licensed to TheMakeupBox.com website, both protected by copyright and other laws respecting proprietary rights. You may view the information on screen, and you may download small portions of the information to a computer disk for personal convenience and you may print paper copies of small portions for personal use only. The rights granted here are an expansion of the rights granted under the Copyright Act and do not include any rights to reproduce in its entirety any portion of the information or materials contained therein within this website.
No part of the information may be duplicated in any medium or format beyond the express terms of this Agreement without prior written authorization from The Makeup Box Ltd. Any use not authorized by the Agreement is prohibited. You may not permit others to: reproduce, publish, distribute, sell, or otherwise access or use any material retrieved from or contained in or on ‘TheMakeupBox.com’ in any manner whatsoever that may infringe any copyright or proprietary interest of The Makeup Box Ltd.
Nor decompile, disassemble, or otherwise reverse-engineer or copy TheMakeupBox.com website or any software contained therein, or alter, translate, modify, or adapt it to create derivative works. Unauthorized reproduction of TheMakeupBox.com website, transfer, and/or use may be a violation of criminal as well as civil law.
The Makeup Box Ltd reserves the right to change, modify, add or remove all or part of the Advertising Terms and Conditions Agreement at any time. The Makeup Box Ltd is not liable for any delay or failure in performance under this Agreement resulting directly or indirectly from acts of God, terrorism, or other causes beyond its reasonable control.
